Mission Statement: Ferriday High School's mission is to provide every student with the opportunity to achieve academically and vocationally.
Vision: There can be no ACADEMIC gain without DISCIPLINE.
Ferriday High School offers a wide variety of courses; the courses may be either a full school year or one semester. The faculty and staff have a genuine concern for our students' interests, and we challenge our students to strive to be successful in all areas of their lives. One of our priorities is helping students to make wise, beneficial choices among our offerings, based on their goals and aspirations.
As students make choices, we stress the need for discipline, for discipline is a key to success. We teach that self-discipline enables students to reach their highest potential at Ferriday High School. When we discipline ourselves, we respect others' property, privileges, and rights, thereby gaining respect for our own property, privileges, and rights.
We encourage our students to take pride in themselves, our school, and our community. Together, we can all make a worthwhile difference in assuring that Ferriday High School is the best school that it can be.
