Message from Principal Jackson regarding the LHSAA Class 2A State Champion Trojans!

Hello everyone! On behalf of our Class 2A Champion Football Team, our gifted student body and our top ranked administration, faculty, and staff, we would like to send a huge THANK YOU to the people of Concordia Parish and surrounding areas for supporting our school in such a big way! We can not do anything without your support of our most prized and valuable asset, our student body! Your support, kind words, and appreciation for the hard work we have done is completely breath taking. Coach Stanley Smith, Coach Kenny Kitchen, and their team have achieved a lifetime goal and have given our student athletes the ability to be showcased on a state and national level. Without the guidance of our Superintendent, Whest Shirley, and his team, none of this would be possible. He is truly a man of class and determination and will go the extra mile to ensure that all students in Concordia Parish have the ability to be showcased on the state and national level. Again, we thank you and applaud your kindness and sincerity. We urge you to continue the support of our basketball teams on their journey to the top and our many academic initiatives that are in place. The students of Ferriday High School and Concordia Parish are the BEST, they are BETTER than the rest, TODAY we are all the MIGHTY, MIGHTY TROJANS!

Educationally yours,

Kimberly M. Jackson
The PROUD Principal of Ferriday High
